7AM will never be the same again

Four weeks went by so fast. I’ll be missing the 7am summary rounds and the feeling of impending doom I get whenever there’s an unresolved case of abortion because I’m always so sure that I’d get called and asked to explain the different types (threatened… closed cervix, uterine size compatible with AOG…). I never was called, though.

With this rotation ending, I’m also saying goodbye to my primary differential. OB will always be my first love, but the past four weeks and my stint as LO (a job that I actually enjoyed) proved how much I’m so not for this environment. :(

Reflections on my future plans shall continue next year. For now, CHRISTMAS BREAK!!! But it kind of means less now that I’m ICC and we’ve been having all these breaks in whatever rotation we’re in. ;p
